Finishing

Chemical finishing processes include processes designed to change the optical, tactile, mechanical strength or dirt-releasing properties of the textile.

Printing

Textile printing is related to dyeing but in dyeing properly the whole fabric is uniformly covered with one colour, whereas in printing one or more colors are applied to it.

Sizing

Different types of water soluble polymers called textile sizing agents/chemicals such as modified starch, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and acrylates are used to protect the yarn.

Epoxy

Epoxy refers to any of the basic components or cured end products of epoxy resins. Epoxy resins, also known as polyepoxides, are a class of reactive prepolymers and polymers which contain epoxide groups.

Liquor Ammonia

Liquid ammonia is effective at improving the strength, shrink resistance, and hand of cotton fabric. Excellent washing shrinkage resistance is obtained with the NH3 treatment.
